User Tips
1. Set your radio to tone and tone squelch 103.5 (T/SQ, ENC/DEC).
This mutes stray noise and the system ID on your radio.
2. When in use once the courtesy tone is heard you may transmit.
You never have to wait for the repeater to stop transmitting.

WC is the primary local talk group.
Used to communicate within & beyond Wallowa County.
Oregon 1 (3141)
Used to communicate on systems throughout Oregon & the NW.
This system is open to all and can be linked to any talk group or private
call on either time slot. Talk groups not on the systems static
talk group configuration will unlink after 15 minutes of no
transmit on that talk group from a local station (dynamic link).
User Tips
1. Announce the talk group you're using when calling
to help others know what talk group you're on.
2. Time slot 1 is the best choice for private calls if it is not busy.
3. Use the WC (312685) talk group when not in range of the system to
make contacts with stations on this system without the need to
use a statewide or a more populated talk group.

area east of the Wallowa mountains.

Joseph APRS IGate - KB7DZR-10
(Automatic Packet Reporting System)
144.390 MHz
The Joseph APRS IGate covers the Wallowa Valley and beyond.
This IGate supports the Mt Howard digipeater and weather station,
Salt Creek Summit weather station, 2 way messages, trackers and other APRS units.
The IGate covers directly up to 81 miles and around 300 miles with the help of near by digipeaters.
The IGate passes data to and from the internet in support of the APRS network.
