KB7DZR Repeater
KB7DZR-R Echolink Node Number 323569
This system may be used by any licensed amateur radio operator.
If you are not a Ham you can still listen to the system with most any scanner radio.
You will need to program a channel in your scanner to (147.000).
How to Become a Amateur Radio Operator
The system is a Kenwood TKR-750 K2 repeater, 50 watts, ICS Linker II Controller,
Telwave 6 cavity duplexer, 1/2" Heliax feed line, and a Andrew DB224E 6db gain omni antenna.
System ERP 106 watts. This system has been built for heavy use and has full backup power.
You are welcome here to use the system as much as you like, it is here for you.
You must use a 103.5 PL Tone for system access. It will not work with out it.
This is done only to protect the system from interference and comply with the coordination.
For the best results when using this system also set your radio for tone squelch (tsq / dec).
This will stop other signals and noise from opening your radios squelch.
You will also hear less noise and ID's from the repeater.
You can also use your touch tone pad to get system information, the current weather
and forecast or to connect and disconnect to other Echolink nodes.
Echolink gives you the ability to connect to other systems world wide.
If you are connecting to other nodes first disconnect the node from its current connection.
Then connect to the node you want by entering the number (or node shortcut) you wish to connect to.
When done with your contact Press # to disconnect the node.
The system is hand held friendly in Enterprise, Joseph, Wallowa Lake State Park,
Aneroid Lake, and other parts of the Eagle Cap Wilderness.
