THANK YOU, THANK YOU. You did wonderful additions to the sun/moom page. Took me until today to see it. I will be one of your go-to pages for me. I will learn so very much.

Take care of yourselves. Happy equinox coming up and on to Autumn and many great apples and pumpkins!!

Just found your site. It is great. Been to the area many times thru the years, not so much now as we are getting along in years. But probably coming for Alpenfest. Love the pictures of the area which is special to us.

WXB Tuesday, August 29, 2017 02:35 PM
Thanks for the nice comment, come back to the area when you can and travel safe when you do.

I see your news as well rounded ~ from cons. to liberal. I look here each morning. One thing I would like to see if you can do it is a bit of astronomy. i.e. daily star map that changes on a regular basis, such as current sun and moon position.

Forgot to ask you about your EQ info. I find the movements of Earth fascinating, but I am new to Joseph and not sure exactly where 20 miles SSE of Joseph is. . . ., . can you help me with that?
Thank you for all you do here!

WXB Thursday, August 24, 2017 05:57 AM
Gina, Thank you for the comments, great its helpful. I have found the news services like InfoWars to be very good. They are more quick to correct when they mess up and they report whats going on and not just an agenda as so much of the main stream media has fell into.

I may look into adding some links to the Sun/Moon page where you can find more details already. On the Earthquake page you can zoom the map in along with move it around to get more detail or click on the links to take you to the USGS page for that event.

Hope that helps and have a great day!

Sir, your 'news' choices on your weather website---(the wx part if great) are a collection of sites that do not speak to evidence based, verifiable truth. I believe that the attack on the 'media' has weakened America. Not because they are completely unbiased nor that they do not have a slant...but have generally been evidence based. You are doing a disservice to our community. see any fact-checked website or news outlet. Please

WXB Tuesday, June 13, 2017 11:03 AM
A disservice to the community hmm, sad that you feel that way.
Think you can do better? then step up and do it!

The main stream media is what hurts this country pushing a one sided slant in favor of anti American values. They lie and adjust news to fit an agenda they want to push, its a production (ie Hollywood) to them, not news. If you can not see that your lost in the land of libzombies getting fed by the talking point of the day. The news services in question on the weather home page while not perfect (no one is) make you think and make up your own mind. They happen to offer very good reports if you take the time and read/watch them and not just send out attacks from some lopsided liberal think tank list telling you only CNN, ABC, NBC or some other is only the truth.

I can see live satellite feeds (free to air) uncut, unedited of events, speeches ect, its very sad how the main stream news services spin it later on the nightly news for the masses to see. They will cut it, push the camera in close on a small crowd so it looks big or go wide if its a crowd they want to show as small. Ask questions and get an answer they do not want only to do the report and spin it the way they wanted. I have even seen them setup a situation for a live spot so it looks more then what it really is. That sir is fake news, making it more then what it really is or leaving a point out so the over all report leans in the direction they preconceived it should be before getting all the facts.

Hi, I came across your site by accident and have always loved the Joseph area. I hope to move there some day. Could you tell me where the webcam location is for the Joseph, OR, Wallowa Mtns (West View) pics? So pretty!

Hi Scott, just wondering if you knew how often we have been above freezing since Thanksgiving. I looked at your record page but didn't see anything. Thanks, Jerry

WeatherBee Thursday, January 5, 2017 02:35 PM
Hi Jerry,

Might need to check your gear or use another system, the records page shows everything for many years back and has been working fine.
The last day above freezing was December 11 2016 it was 35F.

Love the weather cam and the weather
I agree with others who find your news sights imbalanced and mostly made up of what truth experts call "misinformation" site. Biased news designed to create fear. One, balanced out by other more neutral sites would be far nicer. I know you think these sites tell "the truth". But they don't. Since you site also implies you are a Christian (that's cool), then the truth, and sites consistent with your faith should be important to you, as they are to me.

WeatherBee Monday, January 2, 2017 07:39 AM
Sorry to see your mind is so closed into the one channel of thought. We are fed and misled with information from much of main stream media and the so called truth experts that they are the only correct ones, they are the truth speakers. Think about that for a moment, look around a bit.
Many of the reporters on the news services on the site that you feel are wrong show a christian walk and a strong drive to get it right. They fail at times like we all do. If you want the sugar coated pablum to be spoon fed to you look elsewhere or the other news sites that are on the page.

Since you made it personal, I have to say its pretty amazing that you know how and what exactly I think and how my faith is somehow incorrect to your or some preset standards. The little head trip your better then thee will not work with me. My walk is personal between me and the lord. I do like to share some of my walk to help folks out. Sorry you do not know how exactly I think.

We are new to the Joseph area (july)and with having satellite we don't get local news. So I check this site every day. I find the site very helpful with great information. We just live down from Joseph airport, so we have beautiful views. We simply love Joseph. Continue the great work.

Great site and super helpful. My wife and I started a tradition of spending Christmas and the New Year at Wallowa Lake, and knowing the weather conditions is really important traveling over Tollgate, etc.

We love just sitting and staring at the Wallowa mountains with the snow coming down and this site let's us know what we get to look forward to...A WHITE CHRISTMAS!! Thanks for making this site available and for all your hard work!

WeatherBee Sunday, December 11, 2016 06:34 AM
Thank you Jeff! Looks like it will be a white Christmas here for sure. Travel safe on your way over and Merry Christmas.
